I love using a hotun when I can. It looks aesthetically pleasing and I feel it completes an install by not only giving a visual aid, but also an audible one too. So many times leaking PRV’s & TPRV’s go unnoticed by customers causing damage to the property, but hotun helps prevent this!

I only fit hotun dry traps with hotun detect alarm unit, because not only do they look great but they do their job by letting the customer and engineer know if there is a problem.

Always nice servicing your own installs! Brought a little upgrade to this one this year! Boiler located in a cupboard, so by adding a Hotun Detect unit to the existing Hotun tundish it adds that extra peace of mind that the client will be audibly notified of any issues with the boilers PRV.

hotun is an excellent product!! It’s so simple to install and is great for the customer as it is so clear and easy to see and to explain to them if it is dripping at this point to get in contact with a plumber to come and resolve the issue. Highly recommend the hotun!

I was luckily given a sample hotun black sf 15×22. I had a boiler install to do which needed a dry trap so fitted the hotun. I’m glad I did as I was impressed with the product. I will be fitting hotun in the future now!

Obviously got the hotun in there… the only dry trap tundish of its kind with the detect on there too, so we will hear that there’s an issue before we see it or before the boiler locks out.

An excellent product that we regularly use for all of our boiler, unvented cylinder and undersink water heater installations.

This is an install in a college, hence all the information on the wall.

I first heard about hotun about 7 years ago and was very impressed with it then. The detect takes it to another level and gives the homeowner a visual and audible warning that something needs to be checked out.

hotun is really simple to install. It saves time not having to run another pipe to outside.

Its simple to explain to the customer giving them the indication that “if you see this dripping, your boiler/unvented heater has a problem”

The complete design of hotun is small and compact

I use hotun on most boiler installations as combining the PRV and condensate reduces installation time and provides a visual aid for the customers to physically see.

When the install is in an area that isnt visible, hotun detect provides the perfect solution to alert the customer to any issues.

I use hotun tundish because they are great idea for keeping in line with manufactures instructions giving a visible air break but with no risk to smells coming back up the pipework due to none return valve.

I love the fact they come in white and black which means I can colour match them well with white/black pipework and clips

Breakdown engineers like myself will tell you how much of a nightmare re-occurring water pressure loss jobs on heating systems can be.

However, the hotun detect alarm unit is assisting with the diagnostic process.

The more installations that have the hotun detect the better and easier it will be for future repairs!

I give the hotun detect alarm unit a big thumbs up from me.

I use hotun detect as a standard thing on all unvented cylinders now.

People always forget about servicing their cylinders and if the relief isn’t visible it just drips forever till it causes noticeable damage.

The hotun detect alarm unit stops this and reminds customers that cylinders need servicing too!

I think the alarm unit is a really useful product, it provides extra awareness for a dripping tundish to alert the customer that there is a problem with the customer’s system. Especially when it could be in a location that is not easy to notice when it’s just dripping.
